As one of the largest used cooking oil refineries in the US, we are committed to protecting our environment and keeping our employees safe while supplying the petroleum industry with the highest quality feedstock for biodiesel and renewable diesel manufacturing. Our safety commitment is demonstrated in many ways such as annual safety trainings and safety presentations done weekly/monthly/quarterly. We are looking for a Maintenance technician to join the team.

Schedule: This is a full-time position working first shift, Monday through Friday. However, the plant operates 24 hours a day and there may be times, due to business need where you may need to work nights or weekends. 

Starting Hourly Rate: $24.50-$26

Job Duties:

  • Align, fit, and assemble parts using power tools and hand tools.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders for equipment assembly.
  • Stick and MIG weld in all positions.
  • Diagnose, repair, and analyze electrical components and circuits of various voltages.
  • Ability to read and follow diagrams and blueprints.
  • Experience with pipefitting.
  • Diagnose pump or motor issues. Repair or replace necessary components.
  • Repair equipment that is not operating properly including Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Steam, and Electrical systems.
  • Follow all safety trainings, policies and procedures and have a safety-first mindset.
  • Climb ladders to reach

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Analytical thought process.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 100lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Valid US Drivers license.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, kneel, climb ladders and squat for extended periods.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet, in confined spaces, and in adverse temperatures and weather conditions.

Working conditions:

  • Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
  • Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Handling grease coated equipment.
