We are looking for a Utility Driver to join us at our Newport location. The Utility Driver will be trained to work with a variety of vehicles (box truck, pickup truck, and pump truck). As a Utility driver, your job will consist of lifting, pushing and pulling items of up to 100lbs on a regular basis. There may be periods of non-driving where you will be working at the depot operating hand tools, pressure washers and other equipment. Our drivers enjoy consistent year-round work and go home daily, no overnight routes!

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts starting between 3am - 7am, Monday through Friday. OT is available with Manager approval. 

Starting hourly rate $30-$31.50 an hour with weekly pay.
 
Sign on bonus to be paid out in two equal installments. First payment of $500 paid after 6 months of employment and second payment of $500 after one year of employment. 
What you'll do:
  • Operate box truck or pick up to drop off containers.
  • Operate forklift to load or unload trucks.
  • Operate pump truck and handle 2-3 inch hoses pumping out UCO unto truck. 
  • Clean area around tanks.
  • Washing trucks and other equipment.
  • Providing maintenance on containers, (pressure washing, assembling and repainting).
  • Retrieving and delivering trucks to vendors for repair.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need: 
  • A valid Class A or B CDL. 
  • 3 years of CDL driving experience.
  • Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to get Tanker Endorsement prior to start date).
  • Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards.
  • DOT certified medical card.
  • The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Working Conditions:
  • Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
  • Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
  • Handling grease coated equipment.
