Fleet Service Manager

We're a successful, expanding company that has been around for over 70 years! We are a national leader in the collection and recycling of restaurant cooking waste materials. We’re looking for a Fleet Service Manager to join the Mahoney family.

We provide:

• Starting annual salary between $95,000 and $105,000.

You provide:

• Oversight and training of the fleet technicians in the Joliet area, and assigned outlying facilities, and subcontractor partners as needed.
• Spend time on each shift to evaluate performance, personnel, staffing levels by periodically spending time on each production shift.
• Responsible for all aspects of facility- buildings, lot, trucks, fuel island
• Work with Fleet Director to set cost control, development, training, and safety standards.
• Work closely with the Operations Managers to coordinate day-to-day activities to support superior customer service.
• Manage Fleet Maintenance Activities for all locations including PM compliance, vendor selection, breakdown management, physical damage repairs, O.O.S. status.
• Manage ordering and receiving of parts, controlling inventory, and maintaining the parts room in a neat and organized manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

We require:

• At least two years of fleet maintenance supervisor experience.
• Analyzing and diagnosing mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving standards.
• Computer skills (word and excel).
• Team player, multitasker, excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong delegation and proven leadership skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 100lbs.
